Nurona, Inc. (“Nurona,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information entrusted to us.

Depending on the customer’s implementation, this may include information from systems such as:

  • Warehouse or order management systems
  • Accounting and financial systems
  • Customer or supplier systems
  • Email, documents, spreadsheets, PDFs, images, and other business records

The specific information processed depends on the Services and integrations configured by each customer.

3. Customer Data and Our Role as a Service Provider

For data submitted to the Services by our business customers (“Customer Data”), the customer generally determines what information is provided to Nurona and how that information is used.

Nurona processes Customer Data to provide the Services in accordance with our agreements with the customer and the customer’s authorized instructions.

Our customers remain responsible for determining whether the information they provide to Nurona may lawfully be collected and processed and for providing any notices or obtaining any permissions required by applicable law.

If you interact with Nurona through an organization that uses our Services and have questions about information that organization has provided to us, you should generally contact that organization directly.

4. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Processing

Nurona’s Services may use artificial intelligence, machine learning, large language models, optimization algorithms, and other automated technologies to analyze data and assist with business workflows.

Depending on the product and customer configuration, these capabilities may be used to:

  • Extract information from documents and communications
  • Match and reconcile records
  • Identify anomalies or exceptions
  • Generate forecasts or recommendations
  • Prioritize operational issues
  • Summarize business information
  • Recommend actions
  • Assist with workflow execution

Nurona’s enterprise applications are designed to operate according to customer-defined configurations, permissions, and workflows. Where appropriate for the applicable use case, customers can incorporate human review, approval, and exception handling into these workflows.

5. Use of Customer Data for AI Models

Customer Data processed through the Services is used to provide the contracted Services and related functionality.

Nurona does not sell Customer Data.

Unless separately agreed with the customer, Nurona does not use Customer Data to train general-purpose AI models for use by unrelated customers.

Nurona may use aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify an individual or customer to improve product performance, reliability, analytics, and our Services.

6. How We Share Information

We may disclose information to third parties where necessary to operate our business and provide the Services, including:

Service Providers

We may use third-party providers for services such as:

  • Cloud infrastructure
  • Data storage and processing
  • AI and machine-learning infrastructure
  • Application monitoring
  • Security
  • Communications
  • Customer support
  • Analytics
  • Payment processing

These providers may process information on our behalf subject to contractual and confidentiality obligations.

Customer-Authorized Integrations

We may exchange information with ERP systems, TMS platforms, cloud applications, databases, APIs, or other systems when authorized by the customer.

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Nurona, our customers, users, or others.

Business Transactions

If Nurona is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable law.

7. We Do Not Sell Personal Information

Nurona does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

We do not sell Customer Data to data brokers, advertisers, or other third parties.

Where applicable privacy laws define “sale” or “sharing” more broadly, individuals may have additional rights described below.

8. Data Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse.

Our security practices may include measures such as:

  • Encryption of data in transit and at rest
  • Role-based access controls
  • Authentication and authorization controls
  • Logging and monitoring
  • Tenant and data-access controls
  • Secure software-development practices
  • Infrastructure and vulnerability monitoring

No system or method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our Services, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with contractual and legal requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Retention periods for Customer Data may also be governed by the applicable customer agreement.

When information is no longer required, we may delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with our retention practices and applicable law.

Nurona and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries.

Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of certain information

If Nurona processes your information on behalf of one of our customers, we may direct your request to that customer because the customer controls the relevant information.

California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”).

Subject to applicable exceptions, these may include rights to request information regarding personal information collected, used, disclosed, sold, or shared; request correction or deletion; and exercise applicable opt-out rights.

Nurona will not discriminate against individuals for exercising rights available under applicable privacy laws.

13. Marketing Communications

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe mechanism included in those communications or by contacting us.

Even if you opt out of marketing communications, we may continue sending transactional or service-related communications necessary to operate your account or provide the Services.

14. Cookies and Analytics

Our websites may use cookies and similar technologies to provide essential functionality, understand website usage, maintain security, and improve our websites and Services.

Your browser may allow you to block or delete cookies. Disabling certain cookies may affect website functionality.

15. Third-Party Websites and Services

Nurona is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties operating independently from Nurona. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing information to them.

Nurona provides enterprise and business software and does not intentionally offer its Services directly to children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our websites for consumer purposes.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our Services, business practices, technologies, or applicable laws.
